Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging invites you to attend a webinar on Thursday, September 24, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The event, jointly sponsored by Northeast Ohio Medical University and the Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Program (GWEP) will introduce a framework for creating a dementia-inclusive Cleveland Heights.
Attendees will learn:
- What dementia-inclusive communities are
- How the Dementia Friends program can help them learn the signs and symptoms of dementia and offer communication strategies to better serve clients and neighbors
- About dementia-inclusive education efforts by GWEP in the Middlebury area
- Ways to engage neighbors in Cleveland Heights in creating a dementia-inclusive community
