They did nothing to help my mother. They said someone had to be at home at all times to let in the visiting nurse when... they show up. They said they don’t make appointments and will give you a one to two day window when a nurse will show up. Normal people can’t be waiting around for 48 hours in case the nurse shows up. People have to go get medicine and groceries or go to the doctor. It’s ridiculous.I switched to Always Best Care and have had no issues since. They make appointments and work around our availability. If you’re having issues with VNA I recommend calling Always Best Care. You will be so much happier! I was at my wits end trying to find help for my mother and wanted to share with anyone who may be having issues with them too.read more

Mark came out to admit my mom to hospice and was unprofessional and inappropriate. My mom asked if she would feel... better & he actually made the comment to my mom that he has only seen one person suffer at the end of their life and that was because they couldn’t let go because of skeletons in their closet . Then when I said I was familiar with breathing machine that my dad had one he started asking personal questions about my father who passed 12 years ago . A few of the nurses were very nice but the others didn’t do their job . . A case manager was never assigned & they never sent the emergency kit I should have received day one . I ended up calling 911 the day before my mom passed and switched to a real caring hospice for the last few hours of her life . Hospice is supposed to help families & VNA didn’t . My mom suffered because of them and their lack of care . I had a mental breakdown and I’m scarred for life because of VNAread more
